What is Roll Forming?
Roll forming (sometimes spelled as rollforming) is simply the process of bending sheet metal into a desired shape using a specialized roll forming machine.
The sheet metal is passed through multiple pairs of contoured rolls, changing the shape gradually from flat to the finished section, without changing the thickness and at room temperature.
For more information about the roll forming process you can view the Wikipedia article on Roll Forming.
